The Sustainable Security programme has initiated work on a new research project that looks at marginalisation as a driver of insecurity. Posing critical questions about the efficacy of the UK’s domestic counter-terrorism strategies, the project will add an important British dimension to ORG’s long-term work analysing the repercussions of the War on Terror.
The project will be led by Betsy Barkas, who joined ORG in September as a Quaker Peace and Social Witness Peaceworker.
