Oscar Larsson

Intern, Sustainable Security Index

Oscar Larsson is the Sustainable Security Programme’s intern, assisting in the development of a Sustainable Security Index.

Originally from Sweden, Oscar has lived in the UK for five years. He graduated from the University of Glasgow with a first class MA (hons) in Politics in 2016 and is studying for a MSc in International Relations at the London School of Economics in 2017-18. He has a keen interest in non-traditional security issues, including human security and 'securitisation' theory.

Oscar has experience in research from the National Centre for Social Research, where he assisted with the launch of the 2017 British Social Attitudes survey. Before this, he interned with the Swedish Ministry for Foreign Affairs and for the European Parliament in Brussels and Luxembourg.
